About a year ago, we flew to India to fulfill our dream: setting up an online store specializing in stainless steel tableware, inspired by Indian food culture. Our goal is to reduce the amount of plastic waste on Earth.
Stainless steel plates, bowls and cups
Six months ago, we started selling in the Netherlands, both through our webshop and at markets. The great thing about the markets is the high level of customer contact. We were hearing from more and more people that they used our products while camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. This is because stainless steel is ideal for camping and outdoor activities: it's strong and lightweight. One customer recommended creating a complete stainless steel camping set. We asked customers and friends what the set should look like. The most common recommendation was a set consisting of stainless steel plates, bowls, and cups. A key point they all shared was that the products should be lightweight and not too bulky.
We immediately looked at our range and opted for light (yet strong) products.
